Living here in the Monterey Bay area, I consider Carmel and Big Sur as part of my "backyard." I am down in the region all the time for all sorts of events and non-events. The sands are much whiter and the ocean much more blue than here in Santa Cruz. This can equal spectacular images. It's no wonder people from all over the world want to come here to get married. The coastline is unreal.
