Well, the film crew shooting the Jay Moriarity biopic tentatively titled Of Men and Mavericks (Chasing Mavericks) had planned to shoot the Jay Moriarity paddle out scene this Friday but they could not have planned to have some of the best weather of the year as well. Reminiscent of the actual event from June 2001, thousands gathered to take part and pay tribute to Jay once again.
