Bald Eagles Nest In Santa Cruz County ~ Images by Terry Way

For the first time in recent history, the majestic Bald Eagle is nesting in a eucalyptus grove high above scenic Pinto Lake in Watsonville. Bird watchers are loving the opportunity to see these iconic raptors in the wild here in Santa Cruz County.

Pinto Lake is also home to a makeshift "natural" shrine to the Virgen de Guadalupe
