Beck performed a very special (ONLY West coast show!) acoustic set. Many old favorites as well as several songs never before heard were played. His band consisted of Roger Manning on piano (Bennie and The Jets!), and Justin Meldal-Johnsen on bass and drum machine. The mood was light and loose and this show will go down as a stone cold classic.

The previous evening saw a beautiful set from
Devendra Banhart. With his full band, they seemed at times to capture a 1950's doo wop vibe blended with a South American groove while adding some 1980's new wave synth for good measure. Hard to describe but great to hear!
