I shot a wedding yesterday at Greyhound Rock. (near the heart of the fire zone) and passed this impressive scene going down at Scott Creek beach. Cal Fire was in full air assault rotation with squadrons of choppers dipping into the ocean for water and dropping their loads on the inferno burning the hills north of Santa Cruz. Surprisingly, the wedding was sunny and free of smoke!
