New Zealand 2012 ~ Photos by Terry Way


Just back from a 2 week visit to New Zealand. Here is the first in a series of posts from the trip.

The Maoris originally called the island Aotearoa, translated as "The Land of The Long White Cloud."

we were there for ANZAC Day. Here was a flyover

nice clear water in the Tasman Sea

of course we saw sheep...

but even more cows

a serene sea

this was the edge of a massive cloud bank on the way out

sometimes I see faces in everything. Here I saw a Maori likeness in a palm tree
